First Date Package

By the end of the First Date, you will understand why you are writing this book which leads to the point or theme of the story; develop the character of your main protagonist and their love interest and understand their arc of change  - that arc will be supported by the rest of the story.  You’ll understand what the characters want most and why, and gain clarity on what is at stake for each of them.  You will determine how to include the aspects of the holiday into the story to enhance the romantic elements. If you are a first-time novelist or just beginning a new story this First date will help you figure out your relationship with your book.

First Date Includes:

• 30-minute coffee chat (virtually) with me.  This is our time to get to know a bit about each other and get those “first date” jitters out of the way! I take my coffee with flavored creamer (flavor changes with the seasons, of course!).

• A workbook for you to complete and receive my editorial comments on your answers. You will have ten days to complete the workbook.  Comments and feedback from me within one week. Comments will be on the worksheets so you will have easy access.

• One hour coaching call to discuss your answers and my feedback.

• A holiday theme worksheet with questions designed to help you build the elements of the holiday into your story.  One week completion time.   

• One hour coaching call to discuss next steps and plan an actionable strategy for the book.

• Written follow-up will be provided from our call.
